Delicate Ice

The ice was so intricate on this day. It was hard to believe that, although it looked very delicate, the running water didn't break it or wash it away.

Nature's Art

 More incredibly gorgeous ice.

Nature's art awes me. And it's right outside my door. How did I get so lucky?

Mesmerizing Ice

I love contemplating the ice on the creek. The sound of the water gently gurgling past me is a mesmerizing backdrop to the visual beauty.

Tiny the Black Bear!

Tiny the black bear was still around last summer. He's an old bear by now but I was overjoyed to see him. Here is a video of him taking a bath.

Glorious daytime mountain lions

This was an amazing scrape last fall, with mountain lions regularly checking out the scents during daylight. It makes me so happy to see them so comfortable in this habitat.

Bears doing dances, including my favorite bear - Tiny!

Yes, Tiny the black bear is still alive and dominant. He now spends the whole mating season in the forest near my new place. I love him!
